Torre del Greco, Banca di Credito Popolare - Palazzo Vallelonga 20 December – 1 February 2009
This exhibition of 60 artworks lent by important public and private collections included precious religious ornaments, finely decorated jewellery and everyday objects. It focused on the heyday of Sicilian artistic craftwork, between XV and XVIII centuries, and the reciprocal influences between Jewish and local artisans, above all those working with coral. We packed and then positioned the coral artworks, producing a fascinating play of shapes and colours. We followed the most stringent safety standards, taking into account the complex and fragile nature of each piece.
